Fertility solutions/Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART)
Fertility medicine, also known as assisted reproduction, is a medical treatment used to help individuals or couples achieve pregnancy when natural conception is difficult or impossible, typically in specialized clinics.
The process of infertility involves a comprehensive evaluation of both partners’ reproductive health, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests. Medications may be prescribed for ovulation disorders or irregular menstrual cycles. Intra-uterine Insemination (IUI) is recommended for couples with unexplained infertility or mild male factor infertility. In vitro Fertilization (IVF) is used for various causes of infertility. Intra-cytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) is a specialized form of IVF. Pre-implantation Genetic Testing (PGT) can identify genetic abnormalities before embryo transfer. Egg or Sperm donation is used in cases where one partner cannot produce viable eggs or sperm. Surrogacy is an option for same-sex couples.
