DR.J.M. Nondi

Dr.Nondi is the founder and proprietor of Nectar Gyn & Fertilty Centre since 2019. He holds a Master of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (M.Med.Obs/Gyn) from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.CH.B) from Moi University. He is a member of the Kenya Medical Association (KMA) and the Kenya Obstetrician and Gynaecologists’ Society (KOGS).

Apart from being the lead consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the Centre, he is also a lecturer, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Egerton University’s Faculty of Health Sciences. 

He has previously worked with Jhpiego Corporation as a Technical Advisor for the Impact  Malaria Project based in Kisumu while serving the malaria-endemic Lake Region Counties in the former Nyanza and Western Provinces.

He has also worked with Physicians for Human Rights – Kenya, as a Trainer of Trainers in Forensic Documentation and Medical Management of Sexual and Gender based Violence; with Kenyatta National Hospital as a Senior House Officer in the Department Obstetrics and Gynaecology; And with Provincial General Hospital Nakuru as a medical officer.

Dr. Nondi is a prolific researcher with six publications to his name and has attended several relevant courses/trainings/certifications that compliment his academic achievements. He has held several leadership positions as a student and in his career and has been a recipient of the Indiana University-Moi University Scholarship – The Mwangaza Scholarship and attended the Medical Electives Program at Indiana University School of Medicine in the United States of America.

During his free time, he has organized various free medical camps in various parts of Rift Valley, Eastern, Nyanza and Western Provinces of Kenya; trained medical professionals and law enforcement officers on Forensic Management of gender and sexual-based violence in Kenya and has been training healthcare providers on Emergency and Neonatal Care in Nakuru County since 2016.
